Premier point très important. Lance Armstrong est toujours à Nice et il continu à s’entrainer. Il n’y a aucun doute chez les têtes fortes et influentes du sport qu’il se passe des choses en arrière. Est-ce que WTC serait menacé de poursuite si Armstrong ne peut pas participer à IM France? C’est très possible. Sur un point légal, il est dans son droit puisqu’aucune sanction n’est encore tombé.
Ce qu’on aime vraiment pas chez trimes.org, WTC veut changer certaines clauses dans son code. Il pourrait permettre à un sportif de ne pas subir de sanction si cela vient d’un sport différent. En traduction, Michael Weiss, Lance Armstrong, etc… pourrait continuer à faire du triathlon parce que le dopage aurait été effectué en cyclisme et non en triathlon… On n’aime vraiment pas cette facon de voir.
Il n’y a pas très longtemps, j’avais lu un tweet interessant, lorsqu’Armstrong a annoncé son arrivée en triathlon, cette personne disait. Super content de la nouvelle, c’est désormais votre problème.
Vous pouvez aimer ou détester Lance, il y a une véritable polancerisation (polarisation). Personne ne semble vouloir s’écouter. On peut mettre n’importe quel argument sur la table… on vous répondra que c’est une bonne personne, seuls les bons ont des fondations…
Enfin bon, l’USADAT en attaquant Lance veut marquer le pas. Évidemment que de nouveaux éléments sont sortis. En voila un excellent… Lance Armstrong a payé 465 000$ au docteur Ferrari en 2006. Petit fait interessant, ce docteur est banni à vie par la fédération cycliste italienne.

He said then that the Texan was the last high profile rider he had worked with, yet Alexandre Vinokourov told media prior to the start of the 2007 Tour de France that Ferrari was his coach. The Kazakh rider was later thrown out of the race and given a two year ban after testing positive for a blood transfusion.
Last year Italian media reported that Armstrong had met Ferrari on numerous occasions after his return to cycling in 2009. His spokesman Mark Fabiani confirmed that meetings had taken place, but said that they were not linked to the sport. “Lance has not had a professional relationship with Dr. Ferrari since 2004, but he remains friends with the doctor’s family and sees them every once in a while,” he said then. “Lance last saw Dr. Ferrari about a year ago.”
