Bid on Simon Whitfield’s Accreditation from Bejing 2008 and help Nova Scotia junior team.

Great move.

Simon Whitfield won the first Men’s Olympic triathlon ever, bringing home Gold from Sydney 2000. He continued his winning ways in Beijing, with the Olympic Silver Medal. Simon graciously donated his Athlete’s Accreditation from Bejing, which he wore throughout the time he spent in the Olympic village (except, of course, while running down the field with his devastating finishing kick). We have framed his accreditation, and Simon then signed it at the Canadian triathlon championships in 2011, where he won his 10th consecutive national title. Support Triathlon Nova Scotia’s junior athletes as they swim, bike and run in Simon’s footsteps, and they follow his efforts to stand atop the podium in London 2012. This prized badge and holder would inspire any of us to achieve our fitness and racing goals. Buy it for yourself, or give it to an athlete who aspires to Simon’s achievements.
