blogroll > Rappel du Argon E-118 / Sram red 2013 / Shimano 11 vitesses / Paula Findlay

A super update on Paula Findlay. She is back from Maui and seems to be in a great shape. Maybe she should read the book of/on Macca.

“I sort of want to think of it as just another race and go into it with an open mind. But I know it’s the Olympic Games and there’s such a big buildup. Every time I turn on my Twitter and Facebook, it’s like Countdown to London.”

Given her performance record, Findlay won’t sneak up on anyone in London, competing on the same course where she won in 2010.

“For me … there is definitely a bit of a target on my back,” Findlay said. “I’ve been told that I’m medal potential and that scares me a lot.

“I don’t feel that way, I don’t feel superior to anyone. My goal is not just to make the team, my goal is to go there and perform the best that I can and hopefully that’s a podium.

“I definitely am not going in as an underdog, as much as I would have preferred that.
